You Called Your WiFi Network What?! 11 Funny WiFi Network Names
It had never occurred to me that someone might use the name of their WiFi network to get back at their neighbours – or to even set up a full-on flame war.
But that was before I saw this recent story about the effect that a neighbour’s WiFi name was potentially going to have on their business.
Lulu’s, a posh New York kid’s hair salon (yeah, really…) ran up against a nearby wifi network that was definitely not suitable for kids and was likely to shock many of their neighbours. Fair enough, the owner was probably trying to make a comment on the salon, but it’s probably a step too far for many. I’ll leave you to check it out on Dangerous Minds here to see the offending name.
Reading that made me go and have a root around for the funniest WiFi network names that are just a little safer for work.
