You Wouldn’t Believe What These Guy’s Are Building With Pallets. Then What They Did Next!

The People stacking these pallets in Alesund, Norway certainly have a special way to celebrate midsummer.

Sankthans, or ‘Midsummer’, is the annual festival in commemoration of John the Baptist’s birth. This festival is celebrated on the 24th of June (around summer solstice) in Scandinavian countries and other parts of Europe.

About 40 of the townsfolk build the structure which is on record as the biggest bonfire in the world.

The trickiest part of the process which is documented below, is that it needs lighting from the top!
